Dr. Sean was born and raised in Southwest Michigan and earned a BA in Chemical Engineering with a Minor in Pulp & Paper Engineering in 2013. Throughout his career as an Application Engineer and Project Manager, he confirmed his passion for physics and science, but realized industrial applications of these topics were not the right fit. This led him to pursue his true calling as a Physical Therapist and he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from WMU in 2022.
Sean has had a strong interest in human physiology and biomechanics with his love for sports, exercise, and human performance. Over time, he realized how important injury prevention and rehabilitation can be to maintain athletic performance and everyday function. Helping people maximize function and meet their athletic goals quickly became a passion!
When not at work you can find him golfing, playing ultimate frisbee, throwing competitive darts, exploring nature or starting too many home renovation projects at the same time. He is beyond excited to be a part of the Mindset community and grow as a therapist alongside his future patients.

Patrick Harrison Fowler was born and raised in Vicksburg, Michigan. Patrick was raised competing in year-round sports, and in his early teen years became hooked with running and resistance training. This passion led to a fascination with researching and accumulating knowledge of exercise science, nutrition, and physio-mechanics and inspired Patrick to pursue his certifications for personal training and nutrition coaching.
Starting as an outlet and ending as a purpose, Patrick’s passion for health and fitness can best be attributed to the improvements it made for his life and wanting to help others achieve these same improvements. He currently competes in ultra-endurance trail running with the end goal of seeing how far he can push himself in this domain. Outside of work and working out, Patrick enjoys singing, plays guitar and drums with the hopes of learning more instruments, spends lots of time with his dog, and likes to read a variety of different genres of books.

Physical Therapist, Pelvic Health Specialist
Dr. Cassie is joining Mindset in the summer of 2024, moving back to the Mitten after a couple years out in the state of Oregon. Her time in Oregon resulted in a lot of personal and professional growth, with many improvements that she is beyond excited to bring back in her service to the Kalamazoo area.
Cassie grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan, graduating with her Bachelors in Mathematics from Olivet College in 2013, then attending Grand Valley State University for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy, graduating in 2017.
Cassie has been a physical therapist since 2017, starting out initially as a general orthopedic physical therapist, quickly diving into the complex world of pelvic health. Her passion for pelvic health has only grown over the years, especially after birthing her own two children. She has a passion for guiding patients through large hormonal shifts - pregnancy, postpartum and menopause - finding joy in assisting patients through pain, incontinence, prolapse, etc. that may be limiting them from living their best life. Cassie’s main goal as a physical therapist is to foster confidence in patients’ ability to manage their own condition and belief in the resilience of their body. Her approach is fitness forward and holistic, through stewardship.
One of Cassie’s most proud attributes is her growth mindset. She is a lifelong learner, always wanting to be better for the benefit of those she serves. She holds a specialist certification in pelvic health (CAPP-Pelvic) through the Academy of Pelvic Health, is a Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES), and is working on her specialist certification in obstetrics (CAPP-OB) through Academy of Pelvic Health as well.
When not serving patients, you can find Cassie enjoying time with her husband, Josh, and young boys, Graeme and Finn. She completed her first half marathon in March 2024 and loves functional fitness. Her 2024 fitness goal is to be able to perform 3 strict pull-ups!

I graduated from Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts in 2018 right before having my daughter. I can comfortably say I practice more integrative massage that is tailored to every single client. I have a huge passion for not only holding space for clients physically but also holding safe space for clients nervous systems. Your body does all the work, I just love being there to experience the shifts.
Outside of working full time as a LMT, I am a full time momma of a 4 year old, as well as many many animals. As busy as I am, you will never find me too busy for self care! I love solo brunch dates, journaling, receiving massages, reading, hiking… the list is endless.
I look forward to welcoming everyone on my table!
